You Will Never be the Same, Because of the Anointing!

You will never be the same learning about the anointing, never the same again. The anointing makes the difference, it is the manifestation of the Presents of the Power of God.

Until Jesus Christ was anointed he did no miracle, but after he was anointed, watch out Devil “The Kingdom of God has arrived.” In Power!!!!!!!

The anointing is the Burden Removing, Yoke Destroying Power of God, the anointing is not chili bumps, it produces goose bumps. It will produce a physical reaction, but the anointing is essentially the Burden Removing, Yoke Destroying Power. We saw how Jesus Christ is anointed by the Father, we looked in Isaiah 61:  Isa 61:1  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Isa 61:2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Isa 61:3  To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Then we looked at Peters summation as he preached in the house of Cornelius in Acts Chapter 10 and he summed up Jesus Christ ministry, how Jesus Christ began from Galilee and preached throughout, and this he said was what Jesus Christ Preached.

Act 10:21  Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

Act 10:22  And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.

Act 10:23  Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

Act 10:24  And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.

Act 10:25  And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

Act 10:26  But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

Act 10:27  And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.

Act 10:28  And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Act 10:29  Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?

Act 10:30  And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

Act 10:31  And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.

Act 10:32  Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.

Act 10:33  Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.

Act 10:34  Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

Act 10:35  But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Act 10:36  The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

Act 10:37  That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

Act 10:38  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Act 10:39  And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

Act 10:40  Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Act 10:41  Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

Act 10:42  And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

Act 10:43  To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Act 10:44  While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

Jesus Christ preached, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth the Human Jesus with the Holy Ghost and with Power, how he went about doing good, healing all those who were oppressed of the Devil, and so Peter summed up the ministry and the life of Jesus Christ, and the Father liked it so much that he interrupted Peter’s sermon and poured out the Holy Ghost on everyone who had heard the message.

God Loves us talking about the anointing on Jesus Christ so much that when we talk about the anointing, he pours out his presents in anointing Power. When you read Christ in the New Testament that is a sad translation, Christ means Christos, the anointed one, the word comes from the verb Chrio, to anoint referring to the consecration rights of a Priest or King. Christos translates the Hebrew Messiah.

Unfortunately the transliteration of Christos into English resulting in the word Christ deprives the word of much of its meaning, because we read a title, we think that Crist is the last name of Jesus. No His last name is AM, his Father is I AM, and he is Jesus AM. Christ is not a title, it describes the anointing and he was not called the Messiah until the anointing came on him. The anointing equipped him to be what God called him to be. It would be better to translate Christos in every instance as the anointed one.

That is what God is going to restore to his church. And the Bible is going to read like a different book than you have ever read it before. Look at Luke 4 this is after he has been in Nazareth and they rejected him and they wanted to kill him, he passed through the midst and goes his way.

Luk 4:14  And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

Luk 4:15  And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

Luk 4:16  And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

Luk 4:17  And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

Luk 4:18  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Luk 4:19  To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Luk 4:20  And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

Luk 4:21  And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Luk 4:22  And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

Luk 4:23  And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

Luk 4:24  And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

Luk 4:25  But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

Luk 4:26  But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

Luk 4:27  And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

Luk 4:28  And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

Luk 4:29  And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

Luk 4:30  But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

Luk 4:31  And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

Luk 4:32  And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

Luk 4:33  And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

Luk 4:34  Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

Luk 4:35  And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

Luk 4:36  And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

Luk 4:37  And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

Then he went down to Capernaum a city of Galilee and was teaching them on the Sabbath and what did he teach on the Sabbath? As his custom was he went into the Synagogue and read, it wasn’t just going into the Synagogue that was his custom. Reading in the Synagogue and the passage he read in Nazareth was the passage that he read in every Synagogue. He announced that he was the anointed one, and he did the stuff.

Look what it sais what happened in Capernaum,  Luk 4:32  And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.  They were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with Authority. Why? He said, “This day is this scripture fulfilled in your hearing, I am the anointed one.” And they recognized the Authority. He is saying I AM it. Nobody ever had the boldness to say that, except some wierdos, but now he is saying with Authority, I AM the anointed one.” And guess what, he backed it up, he backed it up. Verse 33-36. Luk 4:33  And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

Luk 4:34  Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

Luk 4:35  And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

Luk 4:36  And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

They didn’t say what a wonder, what a miracle, the sign attested the message, and they said “What a Word.” What a Word! Jesus had said, “I AM the anointed one.” And the proof of it was that he cast out Devils, and so the peoples attention was on the Word. They Said,”What a Word.” What a Word. That’s going to happen, we are not going to get caught up with the signs and the wonders, the signs and the wonders are going to attest to the anointing and the anointed one Jesus is going to be exalted, and God is going to say “What a message.” Of the anointing.

God is anointing men and women to do the works of Jesus. The focus is going to be on the “Word”, they said, “What a Word.” This is with Authority and Power he commands the unclean spirits and they come out. The report about him went out to every place in the surrounding reagions, and then the story of Peters Mother in Law. Verse 40, Luk 4:40  Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

He said,” I AM the anointed one” They said, “Way to go, lets get every sick person in the town and take them, if Jesus is anointed to do the things that he said in Isaiah 61, lets bring everybody whose oppressed of the Devil, everyone whoes bound, everyone who needs the healing touch, and so they brought then to Jesus. What attracted them to Jesus? It was the message he had preached when he had read Isaiah 61 in the Synagogue that morning. They said, “Wow the anointed one is here, lets get around him with every sick person.” So they carried them all. Verse 41, Luk 4:41  And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

We read Christ and we think they are naming him, NO, they are saying, “You are the anointed one.”   Satan, before he fell from heaven is called in the Word of God, the anointed Cherib. He knew what it was to carry the anointing of God upon him, and then he rose up, he didn’t want to be the anointed Cherib, he wanted to be the anointer, and he fell from heaven, but when God said to Eve, there from your seed one will rise up who will bruise the head, Satan knew it would be someone who had the anointing, and he warned his devils “When you see the one who is anointed, Run for your life, He is come to destroy you!” and they recognized him, they recognized his anointing immediately the devils said, “Your it, You’re the one, we are afraid of, you are the anointing.” Guess what? We have the anointing and Guess what? The devils are just as Scared of us under the anointing of God.

They said, “We know who you are, you are the Christ, the son of the living God.” Jesus rebuking them, would not allow them to speak, for they knew he was the anointed one. WOW!! Isn’t that something? The people said,”Wow, he backed it up in the Synagogues, that morning, he cast out a Devil, and all the people are bringing all the sick and he backs it up, and even the devils recognize the anointing.

Look at verse 42-43, Luk 4:42  And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.

Luk 4:43  And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

What was he Preaching? He was Preaching about the anointing. See the Kingdom of God is all about Gods Dominion over the powers of darkness that held mankind in captivity. Jesus said, “The Kingdom of God is here.” What does that mean?  The Ruler ship of God, the Dominion of God is here. Satan who has held sway in this place is no longer in control. Jesus said, “I AM the King, and I AM here.” He preached his anointing, the essence of the Kingdom of God is the anointing that is on the anointed one. When that anointing functions, guess what? Every Devil has to go, every oppressive sickness is healed. God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power, he went about doing good, healing all those who were oppressed of the devil.

Something else about the Kingdom of God, wherever it goes as the anointing is manifested it does good. God is good, and he is honoring his Word, because he is demonstrating his goodness! In the beginning some may be a bit gut wrenching, some may cry, and all this junk will come out of a person. Why? Because God is setting people free, he is releasing people from all the stuff that has been there. Why? The anointing is functioning, so the first effect of the river flowing is that it brings up all the debris, all the junk, and that is not a pretty sight. People need to hang in there, and not be in a hurry to leave, wait around, to let him finish his surgery.

Matthew 4:23 Mat 4:23  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.  Go to Act 10:34  Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

Peters Significant message as the Gospel goes to the Gentiles, Peter sums up the Gospel, Verse 36, Act 10:36  The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)  Jesus is Lord of all. Why? He is the King of the Kingdom, He has absolute Dominion, you know how he got it? By being man see, Man had been given Dominion by God in the garden, but he had given up that Dominion to Satan, and so Jesus came , and the anointing came upon him, and the man anointed by the Spirit went and met the Devil in the wilderness, led by the Spirit, this was a big contest.

The big bully on the block who had held everyone captive was now facing up to the new King on the Block, and guess who Won? The new King on the block, and he came out of that wilderness, and he said,”The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.” He said “Now there is no captive that needs to be held captive any more, I have defeated, I AM Lord of all.” Yes, he was going to deal with the sin problem at Calvary. The Enemy was stomped, the moment Jesus stomped him in the wilderness, under the Power of the Holy Spirit, the Dominion was gone, that’s why the Devils immediately reacted in the Synagogue, when Jesus came, they said, “ Are you come to destroy us?” Jesus said, “Yes.” They were defeated, Satan had been defeated and it just took Calvary to mop it up. If you understand about deliverance ministry, the greatest revelation is the finished work of Jesus when it comes to deliverance. Its done, you don’t have to argue with Devils, you have the Authority over them, you tell them to go!!!!

Its finished, its over, Satan is defeated. Don’t fear him, we have Authority by the anointing!! Verse 37, Act 10:37  That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; That Word, that Rhema he is saying to Cornelious. Verse 38, Act 10:38  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. The summery, the essence of the message that Jesus preached, about his anointing and then demonstrated it, and declared it, demonstrated it, declared it, and demonstrated it and that’s the way God wants to do it Today, NOT just declaration, but Demonstration, YES!

Don’t preach without giving the Lord a chance to demonstrate his power and to set the captives free. Don’t  preach just for preaching sake. Its to preach to get the anointing on the scene to get the captives set free, to let the anointing flow and set the captives free.

When the Lord is ready he will shut us up and get us out of the way and do the demonstration of the Gospel!  Go Back to Matthew 4: 23-25, Mat 4:23  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Mat 4:24  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

Mat 4:25  And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan. What a Joyful thing, look what happened here, people come from all over, Why? The anointing is in the place, when the anointing is in the church the people will come, when God is manifesting his Power and his presents, the people will come. If you want to just have nice sermons don’t expect the people to show up, but if you are prepared to demonstrate the Gospel and allow the anointed one to demonstrate his presents, the people will come from all over to be set free, to have their needs met. This is the day of the anointing to be restored to the church, we are going to be called Christians, not as a little, but Christians, because we are anointed ones who talk about the anointing and carry the anointing, and demonstrate the anointing and the World will say, “There is a difference between the Christians we Know and Those Christians.”

We’ve lost that, we’ve lost that, every American thinks he is a Christian, because he lives in America. When somebody who sais they are a Christian tell them to lay hands on you, to release the anointing on you, if that embarrasses them,  and will really prove who is a real Christian or Not. If you are a Christian you have an anointing. Do not say you are a Christian and not be willing to share the anointing,  and lay hands on the sick and cast out devils, and raise the dead, If you say you are a believer do not embarrass the name Christian, an anointed one. God is going to anoint everybody, male, female, every one of his Children.

John 4: 10-42, Joh 4:10  Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

Joh 4:11  The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

Joh 4:12  Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

Joh 4:13  Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

Joh 4:14  But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Joh 4:15  The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

Joh 4:16  Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

Joh 4:17  The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

Joh 4:18  For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

Joh 4:19  The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

Joh 4:20  Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

Joh 4:21  Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Joh 4:22  Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Joh 4:23  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Joh 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Joh 4:25  The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

Joh 4:26  Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Joh 4:27  And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?

Joh 4:28  The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,

Joh 4:29  Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

Joh 4:30  Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

Joh 4:31  In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.

Joh 4:32  But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.

Joh 4:33  Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?

Joh 4:34  Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Joh 4:35  Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Joh 4:36  And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

Joh 4:37  And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.

Joh 4:38  I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

Joh 4:39  And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

Joh 4:40  So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.

Joh 4:41  And many more believed because of his own word;

Joh 4:42  And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. 

The account of Jesus encountering the Samaritan woman at the well of Samaria, the first part of the discourse about water when Jesus speaks to her. Who was it she was talking to? The anointed one himself! Look at verse 25-26, Joh 4:25  The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

Joh 4:26  Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

How can he give her living water? He is the anointed one, by his anointing. So he said “If you only knew who is talking to you, you would have said Lord, give it, please give it to me, the living water.” Its dispensing and imparting the anointing of the living water, just seeing the water just bubble out of peoples bellies, because of the joy of their salvation. It is wonderful!  He said,” I will give you living water to drink. Verse 13-14, Joh 4:13  Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

Joh 4:14  But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

She sais ,”Sir, give me this water that I may not thirst, or come here to draw.” Then Jesus said to her, “Go call your husband and come here.” The woman answered verse 15-19, Joh 4:15  The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

Joh 4:16  Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

Joh 4:17  The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

Joh 4:18  For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

Joh 4:19  The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

Now in her first perception she perceived, this sounds like a Prophet, but as the discours continued she starts to say “Maybe this is the Messiah, because the key of the sign is he will tell us everything.” Jesus had just told her the secrets of her heart. Look at verse 25 again, Joh 4:25  The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Do you see the light of revelation dawning in her spirit? This guy told me everything and I know from the teaching of the Samaritan teachers, remember they had a different oath than the Jews, but were hoping the Messiah would come, but their teachers had said the Messiah is coming and they have been told about the Messiah, is he can tell you everything, and Jesus had just read her mind and said I know that when the Messiah, the anointed one comes he will be able to tell me everything. Jesus said,”I AM it.” Which is exactly what he had said in the Synagogue in Nazareth. “This day is this scripture fulfilled in your hearing.” HE had no shame and no embarrassment about, about saying “I AM it.” Why? Because he knew that he had the anointing to back up the claim. Guess what? Everyone can have that same assurance of the anointing being on your life, because you are anointed, you are anointed, we’ve been self conscious, because of the Religious spirits that come against the anointing.

The spirit of Anti-Christos-anti anointing that comes against you whenever you say I am anointed, they rise up and they say,”Oh how proud, How arrogant, How can you say you are anointed?” Well the very name Christian, I am saying I am anointed, see, the devils don’t want you to ever say by knowledge “I am anointed.”, because they were warned by Satan, “Watch out when you see the anointed one.”

So now watch what happens, verse 28-29, Joh 4:28  The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,

Joh 4:29  Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

We’ve translated it Christ, but see she was really saying “Don’t you think this could be the Messiah, because we’ve always been told when the Messiah comes, he will be able to read our minds and tell us all things we’ve ever done, and so guess what happens? They head out to see. Verse 30, Joh 4:30  Then they went out of the city, and came unto him. They went out of the City to come see him, then you have the interlude of the disciples coming back. Verse 39, Joh 4:39  And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

The signs and the wonders attest the anointing, the words of knowledge attest the anointing so that you can believe that Jesus is there to touch you and to remove your burdens and destroy your yokes, so he will give you a word of knowledge that only you will know about so that you can know that this is real stuff, this is the anointing and you will put your faith in the work of the power of God to remove your burdens and destroy your yoke, so words of knowledge are precious in the whole ministry of the anointing. They attest to the anointing. This must be the Messiah, many of them believed, because he told me all things ever I did, but look what they said. Verse 40-41, Joh 4:40  So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.

Joh 4:41  And many more believed because of his own word;

What was his word? About the anointing that’s the message he consistently preached, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power. Verse 42, Joh 4:42  And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.  Why? Because he preached the anointing and backed it up, he preached it and demonstrated it, they said now we know he is the anointed one, not because of your words, but we have heard his word ourselves, not even, just seen the miracles, we heard the word of the anointed one and we know he is the anointed one, the savior of the world.

Acts 8:4-5, Act 8:4  Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

Act 8:5  Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. Translate Christ, he preached the anointed one and his anointing, now you know why such powerful stuff happened, see he preached the word like they went out and preached the word, and when we hear preaching the word, we think they went out and said 3 points and a poem, NO, Jesus came and he went to the cross and he rose on the third day and so on. They did preach the resurrection, but the essential message of the early church was the anointed one came, God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, and so that you will believe in him, we are going to demonstrate that power and people come to have faith in him, so Phillip preaches the Christ, the anointed one, Look what happens when he preaches the anointed one. Verse 6, Act 8:6  And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.  So he didn’t  just preach, he demonstrated, that was an essential part, you couldn’t preach without demonstrating the Gospel. The early church knew that, when you preached, you just got out of the way and let the anointing do the stuff and people would believe, what we have done in our western world, we have tried to convince people with words, so they have put their faith in the words of man, Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2, 1Co 2:1  And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

1Co 2:2  For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

1Co 2:3  And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

1Co 2:4  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

1Co 2:5  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1Co 2:6  Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

1Co 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1Co 2:8  Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

1Co 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1Co 2:10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

1Co 2:11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

1Co 2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

1Co 2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

1Co 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.   He said, I came to you I was determined to know nothing amongst you save Jesus Christ the Messiah the anointed one and his anointing and him crucified and my words were not the incitement words of mens wisdom, but with the demonstration of the Holy Ghost and with power so that your faith should not rest in the wisdom of man, but the power of God, they had the same gospel. Philip preached the Christ and he did the stuff, the people heard and saw and they believed as Multitudes. Read verse 6 again, 1Co 2:6  Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: hearing and seeing the miracles in which he did, Wow yes, the anointing was restoring the Joy. Verses 7-8, 1Co 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1Co 2:8  Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Its the anointing  that’s restoring the Joy, the joy is coming, because the anointing is doing its fulfilling purpose. The interesting thing is this, God started this move back to front, he started it with Joy, and so everybody started hearing about the laughing revival and we got hung up with the Law thing. Oh Laughing you know what? Its just a manifestation of the anointing God removing burdens and destroying yokes, and while people are laughing and all under the anointing God is healing deep emotional wounds, healing their psychological problems, healing their spirits, healing their minds, healing their bodies, it produced Joy in Samaria, and God said,”Well Ill just confound them, Ill start with Joy, Great Joy in that City.” Verses 9-10, 1Co 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1Co 2:10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  We are just getting to the backdrop that makes those earlier verses so significant, this guy had held the whole city under his power and yet when Philip came with the message of the anointing, and demonstrated the anointing, the Bible sais, the whole city, the multitude with one accord gave head to Philip. Why? Just because they didn’t hear a nice sermon, they saw the power that was the greater than Simons. Lets see how the Holy Spirit can hit below the belt, you don’t just need Authority only, you need power to back the Authority up. See? When Peter and John came from Jerusalem and they laid hands on people to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit Simon got real Impressed and he pulled out his billfold and said “Man that’s Impressive, Id like that power, how much would you take for that Power?” The Holy Spirit said,”How much will the witch Dr give for the power of God in your Life?” What was acknowledged, those witch Dr’s who can kill people at a distance, and can turn themselves into animals, who can put curses on people and all sorts of other things that you think are weird, if you understand the power of witchcraft, the power of devils, they can do all those things. We have got to search God’s knowledge, and get rid of and be emptied of a lot of trash that blocks God’s power, The wisdom of man and the spirit of the world and all the religious Junk, that God needs to clean out and bring you to a point of growing to experience his power and his anointing, but the Whole City gives head. Verses 12-13, 1Co 2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

1Co 2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Most have asked the Lord, why is it that we have such a low level of spiritual life in the church of Jesus Christ? People get saved and they get board, real sickly they are born of the Spirit but they are pathetic Christians. Got to be spoon feed them got to console them to move, you got to run after them and do all sorts of things, it’s not like they are so born again of the Spirit of God and set ablaze by the Spirit of God that they just take off running with that Anointing of God. It just doesn’t seem to be there, so we have weak, weak Christians.

Producing after our own kind, we are weak, we are pathetic, next thing it just shows you who the church is in bed with. The church is in bed with the World, we are not producing Christians that look like the Father, because we are producing simply to have statistics to empress. The main thing is lacking is the anointing of God, so that that conversion is a powerful impact of the Spirit of God and the anointing of God on the people who are set totally free. Even Baptism has been deluded of its power, its just become a ritual in most churches, people just get dunked and gets a little bit wet, and Baptism is so much more than that according to the “Word” of God, but we’ve reacted to the over emphasis of certain sides of the church, and so we over react to this side, which would be symbolic and It is Not symbolic, it’s a very powerful thing, everything is so weak its so defeat, its so void of power, its so void of the presents of God and we have Christians who are Pathetic, It is going to change, because we are going to see people Born again to the Spirit of God, Ablaze for God and they are going to out strip us, they are going to run so hard, because their Conversion is going to be a dynamic work of the Holy Spirit of God. Why?

He is restoring the Church to Spiritual Health by the anointing, that’s why it’s so important for you as a child of God to keep yielding to the anointing and let the anointing to do its work in you, Because most of the work that has to be done in you is the wounds that make you so self- conscious that you are so afraid of failure and so afraid of looking stupid. If God tells you to lay hands on somebody and throw out a devil, so self- conscious sais, what happens if it doesn’t work and I look like a Pauper or an Idiot.

NO! God said,” When the anointing  comes the magnitude of the anointing will be so great that it will totally overwhelm all the things of self.” God sais, “If you believe every time you pray for somebody to be healed, they will be healed and if you wouldn’t be self- conscious.” Right? If you knew it would work every time you would go around and find hospitals to empty, you would be so excited, we can’t fail.

Here is the problem, we have had a confidence in the power of God and Haven’t had a confidence in the Anointing , but God is going to do something wonderful. It’s exactly what happened on the day of Pentecost, the Spirit came in such a power on the day of Pentecost that they forgot about themselves, they didn’t mind that people called them drunk with new wine.
They were out on the street under the power and the anointing of God and they didn’t care about anybody and what they thought of them. God said “Get ready there’s a new Pentecost coming, but it is much bigger than Pentecost even. He is pouring out his Spirit in such a measure that it is going to take care of all our self- consciousness. God said, “If anyone is self- conscious even, the world will laugh at them, because the power will be so great that if anybody takes away credit for themselves, the World will laugh at them in their face.

The anointed one is saying to his church “I want you to start preaching what I preach, I preached how God anointed me , even the devils recognized it, the devils trembled at that message of the anointing and he is calling his church back to recognize the power of that anointing, and to start to walk in that anointing, and start to expect God to demonstrate his power when we preach about his anointing!
